Nina, say hello!

Today, meet "Nina"; or as I like to say: "My Nina". "Nina" is very very special. Nina and her home are a posthumous gift from my mother and father. Mom died ten years ago but Dad died this past March. It was an extremely difficult time. I think of Mom and Dad and all my childhood memories when I sit down to spend time with Nina in her home. And that's quite often!
The first words I read this morning:
Praise the Lord!
Praise, O servants of the Lord,
Praise the name of the Lord!
Blessed be the name of the Lord
From this time forth and forevermore!
From the rising of the sun to its going down
The Lord's name is to be praised.
Psalm 113:1-3
I praise you, Lord, for the white stuff on the ground. I praise you for the sub-zero temperatures. I praise you that you still warm my heart and life with your love.

Praise, O servants of the Lord,
Praise the name of the Lord!
Blessed be the name of the Lord
From this time forth and forevermore!

I tried setting up this blog last year but could not figure it out so here we go again. I am sure there will be a learning curve. Perhaps this time to start out I will share my sewing room. I have been busy making covers for all of my machines. Let's start with my favorite, my Handiquilter Sweet Sixteen. Since we are talking about free motion quilting in Wyoming, that should fit. So here is my Handiquilter:
And it's new cover:
I used the tutorial from Jasmine over at Quilt Kisses. Thanks Jasmine. What an awesome tutorial for those of us who own at Handiquilter Sweet Sixteen or Babylock Tiara.
